This our first cruise and understand that there are washers @ Dryers avilable on the ship, Im wondering if their on each deck and are the readily available or our they alway crowded.

This our first cruise and understand that there are washers @ Dryers avilable on the ship, Im wondering if their on each deck and are the readily available or our they alway crowded.

I'm going to guess that they're the same on the Dawn as on the Sea Princess, a sister ship. Yes, there are washers and dryers available although the laundry room was very small and there were only two washers and two dryers for our deck, Aloha deck. I've found that regardless of the ship, if I start my laundry at 4:00 or 4:30PM, I'm completely done by 6:00PM, before dinner. I've never had a problem finding a free washer or dryer at that time.

Check the floorplans for the ship on princess.com for the locations of other laundry rooms, not just the one nearest your cabin. Some decks have fewer passenger cabins and thus a greater chance of finding an empty laundry room. Sometimes they are crowded, sometimes not.

 

Mid-late in your cruise, Princess will undoubtedly have an "all you can stuff in this paper bag" for $20 laundry special. I'm good at pressing and rolling my dirties into a small wad so I can stuff the bag!
