Diving San Juan

We sail out of San Juan in Nov. The group wants to do a shore dive before the ship sails. Does anyone know of a place where this can be done?

San Juan is not a dive destination. While I'm sure someone will say they dove there, in better than 100 visits I've never considered diving anywhere near San Juan. Friends who took me diving in Puerto Rico took me far from the city....

We tried to dive in San Juan one year, but the person we contacted gave us an address to a hotel on the other side of town, that was under construction. Glad we didn't give them a deposit in advance! We ended up at a bar in old San Juan, (La Guarnex)sp?, that we go back to every time we visit. We heard that the good diving is too far from San Juan, to get to in just a few hours.
