What about the early entry fees for the palaces, does everyone recommend them?

Absolutely! The RO driver took us up to the back door at Peterhof. A short walk and we were the second group in. We enjoyed the palace as if we had it to ourselves. By the time we came out there were hundreds maybe thousands waiting to get in. Best money I ever spent!
