BrynnP Posted October 8, 2006 #230 Share Posted October 8, 2006 Radio, Your posts and pictures have been wonderful. Thanks for bringing them to us live. I must say, however, your last post was rather sad. I know it's hard to depart ship after a wonderful cruise. How fast/slow did you find the internet connection? My son wants to keep in touch with his girlfriend and wants to know which plan to purchase. 42 days until the Grandeur! Brynn

Rare Radio Posted October 9, 2006 Author #247 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Radio,What kind of food is served in the windjammer? pretty basic or are there some exciting stuff too, like sushi, chinese, thai dishes etc? Thanks! For dinner there is always the same meals that are served in the dining room, except Lobster. There was always some foreign specialties as well. For lunch , there were normal Cruise Lunch entree's,. Most days included Mexican food as well. I never had dinner in the Windjammer (on this cruise), but have had dinner in the Windjammer many times on Grandeur, Explorer, Jewel, Voyager. The Solarium Cafe had hot dogs, cheesburgers, fruit and pizza. Radio ;) ;)

barbieq59 Posted October 9, 2006 #250 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Hey Radio: Welcome Home!! Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and great information from your cruise. Thought about you yesterday as we were going up 95 on our way to the Renaissance Festival. There on our left was the beautiful Grandeur in all her glory. It was a nice site to see, in person, after the last 9 days of your "virtual" tour. I have one small question -- you said to take the laptop. How much is the daily rate to be able to go online. Thanks in advance.
