Atlantis Agony! Help!!!

Wondering if someone could please help. We're going to Nassau on 10/18 on Carnival Fantasy. We've been to Breezes on day pass last year and had fun (unlimited booze!) but the beach was not so great. This time we want to go to Atlantis but can't decide between Comfort Suite deal ($158 plus extra fees) or to pay for "The Dig", look around and head to another beach (Wyndham?) or skip Atlantis and spend $85 for the day pass at the Riu. Is Atlantis really worth it? Which one of these three has the best beach? Complicating matters is the fact that we arrive at 7 a.m. and leave at 3 p.m.. Has anyone done all three of these at different times? Need advice. I'm agonizing over this and we leave in two weeks!

Island Dog-have you been to Atlantis before? It is worth seeing at

least once. I've never done the Comfort Suites room, but I'm sure

some others can jump in with their take, etc.

We also stayed at the Wyndham, in Nov. 2004, right after the hurricanes.

It was fun during the day, the pool was nice, and they were working

on the beach area. I'm sure it's finished by now. Easy to get downtown

too on the #10 jitney.

My niece and nephew honeymooned at the Riu. They had a great time

and said it was beautiful, but that's all I know about it. I think it used

to be a Holiday Inn or something, right next to Atlantis. That stretch

of beach was nice, if I'm recalling correctly.
