MapleleafBC Posted October 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2006 I just read on another site that Windstar has ended the "open bridge policy". Is this true? Too bad, if it is but in todays security conscious world I guess I should not be surprised...

laughoutloud Posted October 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2006 In July, they had an open bridge but you could only enter when they opened the ropes which closed off that part of the deck. Unfortunately for us, we never seemed to be on deck at just the right time...
lovecruisingtoo Posted October 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 2, 2006 On our cruise, the oly time the bridge was closed was when we were entering or leaving port. All other times it was open. Again, this was on the Star and the Surf may be different.
golfergal Posted October 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2006 As of our 9/17 cruise on the Windsurf, the bridge was still open, just limited as others have described.
