cruisin'cats Posted October 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2006 I was wondering if there is a roll call for this sailing? I would like to connect with others who will be sailing with us. Thanks!

poolechick Posted October 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2006 Hi Pat, Ray and Cruisin'cats! My husband and I just booked this trip as well. This will be our third trip to FP. On our first visit we stayed on Moorea and the second trip we did a 7 day cruise on the PG. We just can't get enough of the place!! We are very anxious for 14 days in Paradise and we are looking forward to meeting you! Janice and Jeff
cruisin'cats Posted October 12, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted October 12, 2006 Hi, Should we move this over to the ROLL CALL section or leave the thread here where it is? This is our first PG cruise; our first RSSC cruise; our first visit to this part of the world...and the first time we're celebrating our 30th anniversary. We booked a one night pre-cruise through the cruise line. I just think it is a bit strange that, by booking the pre cruise extra day we don't get put up in LAX overnight by the cruise co. but if we'd booked it w/o the pre-cruise package we would have been flown out to LAX from PHL and put up in a hotel overnight included in the price of the cruise/air. But, by paying extra for that day, we're going to be zipped straight away out in one day, one LONG day, of travel to Tahiti and the cost of the night in the hotel on Tahiti will be paid for out of the pre-cruise add-on. Any ideas on this? Janice and Jeff--sounds like you have some valuable insights to share with us newbees. Someone said that once you go on this cruise to this part of the world, you catch "Tahiti Fever" and keep wanting to return. Sounds you have a good case of TF--and it doesn't sound like a bad thing at all! We look forward to meeting all of you as well.
