Cozumel on Christmas Day

A little later than normal maybe, but most waterfront stores and almost all bars and restaurants will be open to serve visitors on Christmas.

Christmas Day has a different significance here than in the U.S., favoring the celebration of the life of Jesus and in January their traditional Three Kings Day is for things such as gift giving.

This doesn't relate to store openings on Christmas, but gives you some insight to the community atmosphere in that season.
