excursion with kids ranging from 3 to 14

Hi, we are sailing on the Serenade of the Seas departing Jan. 06. 2007 and are looking for appropiate excursions for our kids including a crazy 3 year old. I would like to at least spend a day at a beach with bathroom and food kiosks. I have seen a posting for Accra/Rockley beach in Barbados and am wondering how far a ride it is from the boat and what the fare would be. I have alse seen the RCI hosted excursions to Malibu beach and Ocean park. I dont know whether the $150 fee is worth it or just get your own taxi. Thanks for taking the time to answer!!
