cmacf1 Posted October 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2006 I have just discovered that in our party of 10 going on Crown Princess at xmas, 8 of us are confirmed in first seating of traditional dining and the other 2 people are waitlist #114. We were booked all at the same time. Is this strange? We all want to eat together, but I don't know if the two people (my husband and young child) will get off the wait list. What can we do about this??

What can we do about this?? Did your TA cross reference your bookings ? Doesn't sound like it if you are not all on or all off. :( When we travel with family our TA always makes sure to cross reference so our cabins are near each other and our dining table is the same. :)
Pam in CA Posted October 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2006 Make sure all of your bookings are cross-referenced by all of the TAs. That means that the Maitre D' knows that you're all sitting together. If the bookings are cross-referenced and the final two aren't confirmed, just go to the Maitre D when you board and explain that you're traveling with your friends at the same table. I'll almost guarantee that they will seat you together since they can convert a table for 8 to a table for 10.

If they are not cross referenced they may be a four different tables. :( For their sake... hope they are not at different tables... But the MD' may still be able to accomodate them (although if early traditional it may be harder for him)
