POH- has anyone done the pub crawl?

I was reading that there is a pub crawl on the POH on Tuesday afternoons. Can any one tell me more about it? Which bars did you visit, how long did it go for, was there a cost, any drinks included, was it fun? Thanks!:)

Ok, obviously not many pub crawlers out there... Even if no one here has actually participated, has anyone maybe spoken to someone who has? Know anything about it at all? Any info would be greatly appreciated.:confused:

We just got home today from the 10/02 POH cruise. We did not do the pub crawl...but watched the "gang" do the crawl through the two pool bars. It was a lively group and it seemed like they were having fun. They advertise it as 5 bars and 5 drinks. Don't know if there is a charge...but next time we may look into it!!

thanks for your reply kapoho2, sounds interesting and we are thinking that it would be fun to do it with the group we are traveling with. I would still love to hear more from anyone who did it or heard about it.:o

I haven't done the pub crawl but I am pretty sure that you have to pay for your drinks. If you feel like to have many drinks and want a party atmosphere, it's probably a fun activity.

Yes, you're right, Aussies do like their beer!:p And there will be at least 10 of us on our POH cruise!

We were on the POAloha in April 2006 and the pub crawl was $15 for 5 bars/5drinks. Lots of fun and cheap drinks.:)

Just off the POH. We did not do the pub crawl, but it must have been a big hit because on the last day, they added a second pub crawl due to high demand, or maybe it was due to the earthquake?! Anyway, seemed to be a big hit.

Sounds like a fun way to meet people and to explore the ship! Still very interested in hearing from anyone who has done the crawl or knows the particulars of what bars, what drinks?!
