CruisingGAL82 Posted October 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Hello, has anyone taken this tour and can give me some info on it? I think the tour that is offered through Princess is called land and sea and it is part on a bus and the other half on a catamaran. Is the Catamaran really fast or does it go slow? Thanks
Progress Posted October 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2006 This tour is absoutely fablous. The journey down to soufierie can be via bus or catamaran and the journey back is vise versa. We had a wonderful time visited the Sulpur Springs (drive in Volcano), diamond falls had lunch at a restaurant. There was a choice between Ladera or Fon Doux but our group deicided on Fou Doux fou lunch. We used the Brig Unicorn for part of the journey. This was the best excursion we had in a life time. A special thanks goes to the Folks at Serenity Vacation and Tours. The ambasador service they offer was first class never regreated a momment spend. You can also checkout their website at *****. We plan on doing another cruise early next year and will definately reserved our tours through these folks again. If by chance you do reserved with them say hello to John and Carolyn. They were a blast.
texancruzer Posted October 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2006 We did this tour last Nov. thru Royal Caribbean. We usually try NOT to take cruiseline excursions and opt instead to rent cars and "do our own thing". However we were forewarned about driving on St. Lucia so booked this tour (Land & Sea to Soufriere). We thoroughly enjoyed it. We bused down the coast with interesting stops along the way. Volcano and lunch in Soufriere then boarded the catamaran for the sail back up the coast.... it is a large "barefoot cat" and there were maybe 35-40 of us on it (same group as on the bus - which was a nice a/c one). It was quite windy that day and therefore we did not get the "snorkle stop" but stopped at a small area where Dr. Doolittle was filmed for a while... It was a long day and worth the $$$
