Grand Princess

I have booked the Grand Princess out of Texas for our next cuise. Is she showing signs of wear since she is 7 years old? Has anyone been on her lately?

She will undergo a two week refurbishment just before she returns to Galveston; most folks are expecting to see some spiffing up from that. While she is older, her design is essentially the same as the newest ships, and Princess does a very good job of keeping their ships in top condition.

For ships that expect to have 30-40 year lifetime, this is a young ship. We have sailed her recently and she is in fine shape.

We sailed on her in April of this year- looked great and it was the trip of a lifetime! I wouldn't hesitate to take another cruise on the Grand. As we say, "We had a grand time on the Grand!!"

Princess keeps their ships very well maintained. You rarely see any wear-and-tear on the furnishings. The ships go through dry dock and refurbishment every so often. You will be please with the Grand.
