Playa del Carmen Beaches

I am taking my first cruise on 9/6. One of the POC is Playa del Carmen. I am looking for a beach. A beach that I can lay on and sip on a "drink-of-choice" without being bothered by salespeople. The option of volleyball/windsurfing/ and snorkeling are a plus. Anyone been there and know where I should or shouldn't go.:cool:

Chances are on the beach at Playa Del Carmen itself that you will be at least somewhat bothered by salespeople. There are many places where you can get your drink of choice. I don't windsurf myself but I have some recollection of people windsurfing.

If you want a quieter beach (no sales people that I noticed), some restaurants etc, very good snorkeling, I recommend going south of PDC to Akumal Beach.

Anyone know of an all-inclusive that I can possibly get a day pass to.
