I hope you enjoy the pics although apparently I'm not the greatest photograher...my own camera isn't working and am using my son's supposedly better one....it isn't the camera folks, its the person taking the photos...lol

 

Our Meet & Mingle was the largest ever recorded, but apparently that isnt the only record on board this sailing..supposedly the largest number of Crown & Anchor members EVER are on board this sailing. Stands to reason most of them know about Cruise Critic.

 

It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I'm a bit humbled by so many of you sharing what Cruise Critic and your fellow community members mean to you. It proves to us that while we have all the info, up to the minute news and the best board system out there......it really comes down to the people you meet. Thank you all for the kind words you shared with me today, I will take them back with me to remind me each day what "community" is all about.

 

I have to share that Emmy did a wonderful job being "INTERVIEWED" by Ken Rush for the WEEK IN REVIEW video. You'd all be so proud of her...

After the interview I spent most of the day at Flowrider. This is such a fantastic addition to this ship...it really "FITS" so well with RCI's Get Out There slogan. My son spent almost the entire day (between snacking) on Flowrider. The best is that so many folks stop to watch and cheer everyone on.....its fun, folks are nice about all the tumbles the surfers take, and those who Get Out There and try this are really encouraged by all.

 

Tonight is formal night, and as Anne mentioned it is at 8:30 so I need a bit (more) time to get gorgeous...

 

Talk to you all tomorow, we're decending on Paradise Beach......

Hi Laura...

The photos were great....your photography is just fine.

 

It would appear from reading the posts that everyone is having a wonderful time. Lots of laughs...and isn't that what this is all about. Good Times!!!!

 

Paradise Beach Tom won't know what hit him tomorrow.....heehee...!!!:p

Laura, Anne and Joe, glad to hear you and the hosts are having a good time, while those hosts left behind are trying to not to feel too sad that we are missing out on the excitement. Think of us during one of your get-togethers, while we're sending you wishes for a fabulous cruise and terrific weather. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

great updates everyone ...we just got off the ship yesterday morning and we are going thru withdraw very bad i miss it so bad....enjoy the rest of the week. Dont forget the quest tomorrow night it is so good.

 

Laura thanks cruise critic is so good, last week our tables mates were all cruise critic members we set up table prior and it was the best;)

Thank you all for your reviews...I will be living vicariously through you all this week...I have to wait until December 2007 before I get to step on the Freedom.

 

Laura - What is your room #...I too will have a connecting on Deck 7.

 

Can anyone tell me about the casino? What kind of card games do they have?

sounds like i'm missing a great cruise on a fabulous ship.. go figure!!...not to worry Hosties,, we've taken good care of the boards,, we've taken Walt hostage and have removed Carnival and Celebrity from the boards.. NO NO NO just kidding folks.. its a JOKE!! among Hosts!!! keep the blog going so i can be miserable about what I'm missing..

It's wonderful to read all the fun everyone is having meeting each other.

 

Chris aka Hunster is living up to the traditon of one of the Pink Boa Society members participating in the SEXY LEGS contest...WAY to go Chris! :) WHAT will they do on Genesis???

 

Emmy and Rick~ thanks for posting; we're enjoying living vicariously through you. Blake and I wish we were there

It is so enjoyable to read all these posts! It's the closest thing to being on a cruise and you're actually kinda making me want to test out the Freedom for myself! (I'm a smaller ship lover). Good to know the flowrider has alot going on around it, I didn't know how it would go but it sounds like it's alot of fun. It's kind of amazing that this board has brought so many people together and that everyone is making friends and having such a great time....way to go, cruisecritic!!!

Anyone in a hump cabin? We are on deck 6-E2, 6342 and 6344 coming up soon....We would love a review of the humps....We just switched and are excited!

 

I would love to see a few more reports on shore excursions, either RCI or not.

Hi, everyone on the Freedom right now. I was on the June 25th sailing, and oh how I envy you right now. What a ship!!!

 

I have a special request, please, from anyone on the cruise with Ken Rush right now. Could someone please ask him if he's still taking the Liberty out for the inaugural sailing. I'll be on the May 19, 2007 sailing and just want to confirm whether he will be on that sailing as well.

 

Also, I'd love to know if Abe is going to move over to the Liberty or not, too, if possible.

 

A special thank you in advance to anyone who can find this out for me.
