Wine $$ - same price dining room as CCL website?

Trying to decide how much wine to bring. Is the wine offered in the dining rooms the same price as that shown in the Gifts and Services/Wine Cellar on the CCL website? Tthose prices are in line with many restaurants (about 3 times the non-sale grocery store price)

Is that what they charge at dinner?

(I know I need to prepare for corkage fee for wine I bring aboard, though I might not be hit with it.)

Also, fwiw, I just came across this in CC pax reviews of Glory, dated 9/6:

"THe downside was alcohol. WHat carnival sent essentially said no access alcohol. We had packed only 4 bottles of wine in carry on. At X ray they stated only 2 bottles were allowed. THe cheapest bottle was $20. Luckily there was a lady next to us who agreed to take 2 from us. She returned them to us on the ship." James review 9/6/2006

Those prices look about right. And you can bring 2 bottles, although my mom brought 6 on hers and they didn't take any away. Just luck I guess.

If you just want one glass with dinner, and you have brought some, just pour your glass and bring it with you. Your steward can get you wine glasses.

And on the 9/30/06 Glory cruise, one of my coworkers and her sister carried on four bottles each. We've never had a problem carrying on several bottles of champagne either.

the cruise docements do not limit how much you can bring onboard, they only say its allowed on embarkation day. i plan on bringing at least 6 for the 12-day, and collecting a few more for the transatlantic.

Absolutely correct; mine say the same. I don't know why James got nailed. I'd hate to have to guzzle my 2 extra bottles of Opus One while other pax are boarding. (Not really, can't afford it!) :)
