Miami hotels

I was thinking of staying at one of the small hotels in south beach prior to my cruise and then staying at a bigger resort for a few nights after, how bout the Trump Sonesta Beach Resort anyone stay there ?? I want to go to a baseball game and i think it is about 15 minutes away...any other hotels recommendations better for about 200.00/night?
