I haven't been to a beach on Curaco yet, but I have done a lot of research for my Dec cruise.

Most of the beaches charge, but it is only a couple of bucks. Something like 2.00 to 4.00. You can rent chairs. Most have places to eat and rest rooms.

The closest beaches are probably Mambo, Kontiki, and Seaquarim. They are all in the same strip. I can't remember what I found on cab fare to these beaches but it was very reasonable, somewhere around 6.00 to 10.00.

Here are links to beaches on Curaco.

This one was recommended on another thread but the cab fare was high since it is no where near where the ship docks.

You may want to consider renting a car if you decide on Porto Mari.
