Fort Lauderdale day rooms/rates?

We're departing the Carib. Princess on Sunday, Nov 26th, but our plane doesn't leave Fort Lauderdale 'till 8:45 PM. Was thinking it would be nice to rent a room on the beach and lounge by the beach or pool for the day, maybe check out by 6:00 PM or so. Any ideas or experiences?

I had researched this and found Hollywood Beach Marriott has day room rates but you have to call 1 day in advance or the morning of to check availability.

 

That seemed to be the same with a few other places i called.

Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach has day rates to use their facilities. The rates don't include a room but you can leave your luggage with the bell hop and enjoy their pool and beach.

The Hollywood Beach Marriott is a great property as well. Wonderful oceanfront location with an excellent beachfront cafe directly on the broadwalk. I second Willbcruisin's suggestion.
