prices on board ship

help required for two country folk who are 1st time cruisers.

going on millie in sept, 07, in med.

we do like our drink, on holiday, we are looking for help with prices and tips to keep the cost down ( if possible ) any advice would be welcomed.:)

Drinks are close to stateside prices. Specials of the day are discounted somewhat to ~$4.50 to $5.00. Wine by the bottle ranges up from ~$25, again like stateside, You can order a bottle and if not finished, the waiter will save it for the next dinner. That is a little cheaper than wine by the glass. As for merchandise in the shops, best wait for sales towards the end of the cruise.
