Newark Hotel before cruise

Flying into Newark sat 10/28 for cruise out of Port of NY 10/29.

Need suggestions to (I know, I'm asking a lot, but any info will be helpful!):

I'm solo traveling w/too much luggage :p . Looking for best way to get to hotel sat and to port sun with as much help (porter (do they have porters at Newark?) taxi, shuttle, limo) as possible, but for cheapest way to do it. :confused: :o :p

 

Any suggestions?

With a bunch of luggage, especially too much luggage, forget cheap, public transportation unless your hotel has a shuttle. You'll have to spring for a cab.

Most airport hotels at Newark have shuttles that pick you up at stop #4 on the airtram. The Newark Doubletree comes to mind. Most of the hotels are minutes away from the airport. You can call your hotel from the baggage claim area. They have phones there for each of the hotels.
