OrlEngr Posted October 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2006 I have previously stayed at Amerisuites the night before a cruise and used their shuttle to the cruiseship leaving my car @ the hotel for the week. Amerisuites is now charging $12 a day parking fee  Anyone else know of a hotel in Ft Lauderdale that allows you to leave your car for free during the vacation (provided you stay with them). Christapie Posted October 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2006 We are staying at the Hampton Inn North and were told that the parking is $15.00 for the entire week. I also called them twicwe to make sure and again they said yes. Hope the tide does not turn when we get down there!!!!!!!!!!
Cruise2End Posted October 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2006 You might want to try LaQuinta in FLL or Sleep Inn in Dania - I think parking may be free or minimal at either of these places.

Amerisuites is now charging $12 a day parking fee  . I wonder how they are enforcing it, since they have an open parking area shared with a Mexican restaurant. Or has this changed? elhenry Posted October 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2006 When we stayed at the Amerisuites in late April (and ate at the Tex Mex place, which we thoroughly enjoyed) it had those low concrete blocks with ugly shrubs. So I imagine if they want to, they can enforce it... el henry
sueandkent Posted October 18, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2006 Does anyone know if they're charging for parking even on the nights you are staying in the hotel?

corkpopr Posted October 18, 2006 #8 Share Posted October 18, 2006 if you leave your car at the tex-mex restaurant it will be towed. that is not amerisuites parking lot. they have a couple dozen spaces in front of the hotel, many on the right side, and all the way across the rear of the property as well. Cruzman Posted October 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 18, 2006 Happy to have learned about this! I'm one of their best cruise customers, but I guess that will end after my pre-cruise stay in November.
