My wife and I will be arriving in Curacao on 3/6/07 on the Empress of the Seas. We're having a tough time deciding what to do while we're there, and would appreciate any suggestions and/or opinions on shore excursions.

We're mulling over:

1. the Spanish Water Snorkel Expedition past Caracas Bay and Jan Thiel the snorkel at the sunken tugboat

2. the Curacao Snorkelling Tour to snorkel at Caracas Bay

3. the Catamaran Sailing & Beach Day at Jan Thiel where you sail your own cat, and/or

4. the Ostrich Farm and Aloe Plantation

We prefer snorkelling, and will probably be doing just that at most of the other islands stops, but we're totally open to suggestions on other stuff also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May I suggest that you hire Leo to be your guide for a day? He will tailor his tour to whatever your interests are and I can't recommend him highly enough. We used him last week and were more than satisfied. He is very knowledgeable about the island and his English is excellent His e-mail is

You won't be sorry!
