Customs in Nassau

It depends on your itenerary. If your only port is Nassau (the Bahamas) on your sailing then customs will wait until you get back to your port of origin. However if you go to the Bahamas first and then visit one of the US Virgin islands then you will go through customs on the ship the morning you arrive at St. Thomas, St Martin, etc...port of call.

You don't go through customs in Nassau... that is how it works. At your port of embarcation you will be given a card to fill out with your information. You give it to the cruise line when you check in and they take care of the rest. When you get to Nassau you walk off the ship just like at all the other ports of call.
