Online TA booked wrong sail date

The advice to go to the port and hope for the best was bad advice. You can't even get into the building without proper documentation. In some cases you can't even get into the parking lot without proper documentation.

 

You are SO right. I had almost forgotten about this. I am a repeat Monarch cruiser and they will not even allow people without some sort of documentation to get past the front entrance gate leading to the terminal. :o

You were probably bumped to the top of the waitlist. I know we had a family/friends cruise booked last year that one party had to cancel with only 8 days left, so it does happen.

Looks to me like you got their attention. Try to keep it calm & professional. Right now you are at their mercy. If you start to push too hard, they will likely just stonewall you. Good luck.
