There is a liquor store just outside of downtown about 5-10 minutes away from the hotel. Its called Gulf Discount Liquor and Wine: 1836 SW 3rd Ave, Miami, FL

 

you can take a cab there and don't worry its in a safe part of town.

There is a Walgreens on 1 Se 3rd Ave also 1 E. Flagler St.

 

You can get beer at the liquor store as well.
