The Atlantic, FLL

Is this hotel fairly nice? How about the location? Is it near the port, activities, restaurants , shopping? Sorry, never been to FLL and am looking for a nice conevient place to stay that isn't too expensive. Found a pretty good rate here.

I just posted a reply regarding the Atlantic to your post on the Grande - then noticed this one!

Without repeating myself, it was an absolutely fabulous hotel - see my post above - I also did an extensive review on tripadvisor.com - ft. lauderdale hotels.

In my opinion, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks, Rob for your help. I'm off to Tripadvisor to check out your review. I like to know as much as possible prior to arriving in a new place so as to reduce the possibility of unpleasant surprises.

It's a first class property, you'll be hard pressed to find any unpleasant surprises. ;)
