We were at Grand Anse last winter. We took the water taxi over from the Princess dock. What a ride, they really fly, we were at the beach within 5 minutes! The beach is nice but beware of all the locals selling stuff. They are very bothersome and even if you say no politely another one comes down selling something else a few minutes later. We even had a guy serenade us with a song on his guitar and he expected to be paid. I'm all for helping out the locals but sometimes it gets out of hand. Finally we just made believe we were sleeping when we saw them coming our way.
