Weather Question??

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone ever cruised in October and what the weather was like. My hubby and I were planning a 7 day cruise aboard the Voyager of the Seas for our 20th Anniversry in October 2005.

We just went on our first cruise and my hubby loved it. He wants to go again but is worried about the weather because he is prone to sea-sickness. He uses the patch and it helps. But if he ever went on a cruise and got really sick then it would be the last time that I could get him on a ship.

Thanks for any and all info/advice.

If you are going in the north Atlantic (New England/Eastern Canada) then you can never be sure how rough the waters are going to be. October is technically hurricane season, but towards the end of it. I would say that there is a higher possibility of having rough seas in this part of the ocean than if you were going to the Carribbean (however there can be choppy waters there too). Unfortunately, there is no way to tell.
