Zaandam experts-another question

Melianne

Recommended Posts

Using a recommended website from another thread (cruise-only.com), I took a few minutes to view the 360-degree pictures of the Zaandam. (Got dizzy!)

Here's a question for those who have sailed her: Is there a place on the ship where there's an "opening" or atrium that goes up one or two decks? The atrium picture on the above-mentioned site looks to be only one deck high.

This may seem trivial, but for some reason it's important to me. Maybe I'm a touch claustrophobic . . .

Thanks for your responses!!

Yes, there is an atrium on decks 3 through 5, but it isn't really grand in scale. The center of it contains this very odd-looking organ (theme of the ship is music).

I don't think you will be claustrophobic on the ship. There is plenty of room for everyone. The lower promenade deck (deck 3) offers nice covered outdoor space for walking, should you wish to get outside. Upper decks are another option.
