Shopping in Costa Maya

How is the shopping in Costa Maya. We are trying to plan our shore excursions and we will leave time for shopping if there are shops we would enjoy. We are interested in local souvenirs and it is always nice to bring back a little jewelery.

Hello SharC! I am not a recent shopper to Costa Maya but when we were there a year ago, I thought it was a little better than Cozumel. Both were very good but I felt like the prices were more reasonable is Costa Maya. You can talk them down more anyway. Hope this helps and I am sure the others will kick in soon to help you!!:p

Thanks for the information. We are trying to decide which port is better for shopping. Our last cruise was in the Mediterranean and because it was so excursion oriented we had no time to shop. We went to Europe and bought nothing.
