Cab to Kennedy Space Center???

Does anyone know the price of a cab from Port Canaveral to Kennedy Space Center? Trying to decide wether to do it on our own or do a ship excursion.

Don't know about a cab, but you can rent a car (i.e. Budget ~$30) ... pick up the free shuttle from pier to rental place and there's even discount coupons for KSC at the rental desk. Check out other threads on this topic under North American Homeports - East Coast Departures.

We took the ships excursion and regretted it. It took 2 1/2 hours from boarding the bus at the pier to get to the first destination. The tour group was mostly at fault. We missed one of the imax movies as we had to be back at the front gate by 5 pm to leave for the ship. Grab a cab or rent a car.

I am looking out my window at Port Canaveral right now so please take my advice. Listen to the people that said rent a car. All of the majors are close by and I do find Thrifty to be the cheapest. KSC is not all that far but it will cost at least twice what a car will.
