Excursions thru Carnival/getting off ship

I have heard that those who have booked an excursion through Carnival get off the ship before those who have not (specifically Cozumel on the Fantasy if that helps). Is that only for early morning excursions? We have booked the Fury Catamaran for noon through Carnival and was just wondering if we will be among the first off the ship since we dock at 7 a.m. but the excursion isnt until noon. Just curious! 11 more days!!! WOO HOO:D

Yes, they typically open everything up after an hour or so... you should have no problem just walking off later in the morning.
