Seven Seas Mariner Cordon Bleu classes

We've taken the CB classes 3 times (twice on the Mariner and once on the Voyager)and are booked for a 4th time next week on the Voyager. The classes are held on days at sea, not on days when the ship is in port. There are usually 2 groups each of which has 3 classes. The classes alternate between morning and afternoon sessions. In addition to this there is a private "graduation" dinner in Signatures which is closed to other cruisers for the occasion. Often there is also a group dinner with the chef in La Veranda. In the first day or two after embarkation, there should be an organizational meeting at which all will be explained and you will get your schedule.

Obviously, we love these classes and have found that our fellow students ususally do as well.

It depends on what you are cooking. Ours lasted about 3 hours - the chef/teacher first demonstrates the dish and then you cook it and then you relax with a glass of wine or coffee or soft drink and eat it!
