mimi'sgirl Posted November 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2006 I want to start by thanking everyone for all the info. I've been able to gather for our cruise on the Dawn in April. One thing I did not come across is - Can anyone tell me if there are booster seats in the main dining rooms and Salsas? I know there is a kid's section in the buffet. Since the kids will not be going to the specialty restaurants with us I don't need to know about there. Thank you in advance for any info.
Geo&Me Posted November 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2006 When we were on the Dawn in August, there were some small children in the main dining room with a booster ---- saw one of the waiters bringing it out from the kitchen area (I assume it was the kitchen area)...... Enjoy your trip --- wish I was coming with you.

KeystoneCruiser Posted November 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2006 There are booster seats and high chairs available in all restaurants. Main and Specialty. You may be confused about the specialty restaurants: you do not have to pay a cover charge for children in the specialty restaurants if they order off the kids menu or if they only order salad, apetizer or dessert. (if they order an entree they get charged a cover charge.) The kids menu is exactly the same in every restaurant on the ship. So if you are sending your kids elsewhere to eat to avoid the charge, you don't have to. They can get the same food in Cagney's as they do in the main dining rooms! My 6 year old nephew would order off the kids menu and then order a dessert off the menu in Cagneys!
mimi'sgirl Posted November 3, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Hi KeystoneCruiser, Thank you for your info. We are saving the specialty restaurants for Mom and Dad alone time not the extra charge. Not sure my 2 year old will sit for too long. Thanks again.
