Just Cruzing Posted November 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Do they have Texas hold-em tables on the jewel? How about Texas hold-em and black jack tornaments? Does any body know how much the buy ins are, and the minimum black jack bet? Thanks
shoreguy Posted November 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Yes, yes, yes From the Texas Hold-em thread just below - same games on the Jewel as the Sun Sure, they have one hold 'em table in its own offshoot room. The play is 2.50/5 table limit. Not a very profitable venture if you really know how to play, Look for alot of tourists to stay down to the river with junk cards. Tournaments are held on both sea days, you are looking at a $60 buyin, with unlimited rebuys w/in the first hour of play. After the first hour is a ten minute break with an available $60 re-buy. Starting stack is 2000, rebuy adds 4000. Blind structure starts of at 25-50 and doubles (yes I said doubles) every fifteen minutes. Make moves fast, its a crapshoot of a game. After the break you are already looking at 400-800 level blinds. Blackjack - minimum bets $5 - tournament was 10 or 15 buy in Top six players from the qualifying play the final game for $

Go later in the evening (from about 9p-12a) and you will have a hard time getting a seat at the five dollar table, as well as the texas hold 'em table. The lower limit tables deal out of a six hand, constant shuffling shoe, the higher limit tables deal out of a 4 hand shoe that the dealer shuffles.
