What should I not miss when I go to Malaga?

We have hired a guide to take us to the Alhambra for the day!(Granada) I haven't been yet, BUT that is our plan.

Granada is definitely the #1 site from Malaga.

I did a Tapas Tasting Tour sponsored by the ship in Malaga last month. It was okay but not great. Were I to do it over I'd head straight for the new Picasso museum as I'm a big Picasso fan. Otherwise I didn't see anything in Malaga that made me want to return. Maybe that's why several people have mentioned an out of town tour.

I am not familiar with this area at all. What is special about Granada? How does one get there?
