HMC Drink Special?

As I recall a thread about Cabanas on HMC stated that there was a drink (beer, rum punch etc) that you could order for about $29 for two people in addition to your cabana. My TA called ship services on two occasions and they were not aware of any such packages. Anyone have any info???

When we were on the Maasdam this past April, they offered a drink card at HMC for about $29... it was only sold in the bars the day before we got to HMC - perhaps this is what you are referring to?

 

One of the people we met bought one, but was not able to get a tender to HMC til the afternoon, once he got there, he found they were already out of rum punch. The card is only good for one person - so unless you plan on drinking more than 5 - 6 drinks, it may not be worth it.

 

We paid about $5 per drink on HMC - all of which were charged to our ship board account. We bring cash to tip the bartenders - many of whom were from the Oosterdam - also at HMC the same time we were.

 

PS - we also had the cabana with butler service - we were supposed to get drinks with it - only got three warm beers... not worth the extra $$$, IMO.
