verandah partitions on the Oo

Anyone know if they will unlock verandah partitions so you can open and close as you wish? Traveling with parent next door and it would be nice to be able to go back and forth that way but still have privacy at night.

The stewards have a tool to open and close the verandah partition doors. (though I may have glimpsed them using a dull knife...:) ) Once they are open, they remain open and they often swing and bang in the wind as the ship moves and the banging disturbs everyone all night long. Everyone in your general vicinity will be most appreciative if you have the door locked at night so their sleep will not be bothered. :)
