Holiday Inn by the Sea & Beach, FLL

We are booked in February for Holiday Inn at 4116 N. Ocean Drive. I know it is about 10 miles from port and hotel doesn't offer free shuttle. Anyone know anything about this hotel and how much it might cost to get to port? Also, how about day rates for when we return? Our flight doesn't leave until 7:00--any suggestions for hotels near port that offer day rates?
