Can Anyone Recomend a Hotel in South Beach

I am looking for a inexpensive clean hotel in South Beach for the night before our cruise.

We booked the Starlite Motel right on the beach in South Beach (southern end of the strip). I don't know much about it other than we got an oceanview room with a king bed for $89.00. Sure beats the $160 quotes I was getting for the downtown hotels. We leave a week from Friday (24th of Nov.) so I can let you know when we return how it was! Looks cute from the website. It's one of the old Art Deco buildings.

Hi, We've previously stayed at The Clevelander Hotel, right on Ocean Drive in South Beach and liked it very much. In two weeks, we are staying at the Essex House Hotel on Collins Avenue (owned by the same management group as The Clevelander) for two nights prior to our cruise which is 12/01/06 on the Brilliance. Both hotels are very reasonably priced, especially considering the fantastic location. Good luck and have a great vacation!
