I think this has been asked before..but TBD?

Okay, as insane as I am; I booked a TBD guarantee deluxe (W category).

The price was right, and its on the refurbished Century.

My questions are.....does anyone have experience booking like this?, as I have never booked a guarantee, but have always chosen a room on a specific deck.

Does your Captains club status have anything to do with the type of cabin you are assigned over others? or is it just random? ( i.e. if an Elite and a Select member were in the running for a Century Suite vs. a Royal, would the Elite member have precidence over the select?).

Anyone ever have a bad experience booking this way?

The price difference is less than $75.00 from what I was going to pay for a CC cabin...So i figured the worse that could happen is that I end up in a Century Suite.

Would like to know your thoughts.

Thanks,
