Ft. Lauderdale port

[East Coaster]

We will be arriving via air the end of December to cruise. I really don't want to pack any liquids (water, wine, etc.) in my luggage so are there any stores nearby or in the port of Ft. Lauderdale?

Brand new shopping center off of 17th Street (behind Embassy Suites) called the Harbor Shops. Theres a Publix Supermarket and a liquor store called Total Wine within. Only five minutes from Port Everglades. ;)

Thanks Bequia for your help. I cruised out of Ft. Lauderdale several years ago and didn't quite remember what was close by. We are taking the airport transfer from the cruise line so once we check our luggage in we could probably walk there or else take a taxi.
