Auckland Carlton Hotel...distance from Princess Sapphire?

Is it possible to walk to the Sapphire Princess dock from the Carlton (Rendezvous) Hotel in Auckland? If not, how far is it by taxi?

Might be a little too far with luggage - I would suggest a taxi - its probably only two thirds of a mile.

Definately a taxi, the hotel can arrange this for you, about $15 NZ i would estimate. Regards Ian [Tauranga]

When we went in February, we booked the Princess transfers from the Carlton. Since we were told the transfers would be delayed we asked the doorman how much a taxi would cost. It was $6NZ or just over $4 US. We took the 5 minute taxi ride. We enjoyed the Carlton. You can see pictures of it in our review at www.thepreismans.com .

LKJ: what happened t the other thread? it seems to have disappeared. wereyou able to see longbrake pics? I found the link and posted it . We are also staying at Carleton for 2 nights prior and 4 seasons in sydney after. Have you booked any shore exursions?
