Mariott Resort

Any information on the Mariott Resort? From other helpful threads, it appears that it may not be on the boardwalk. Looking for a quiet place to relax during the day.

 

Any comments/Thoughts?

You are correct. The Marriott is not connected to the other resorts by the boardwalk. The Marriott Resort, and their 2 Vaction Clubs- the Ocean Club and Surf Club are located further north along Palm Beach past the Holiday Inn and Moombas Beach Club. The boardwalk ends at the Holiday Inn. The 3 resorts are all adjacent to one another and make up a humongous complex. Not something I think you would picture as a "quiet place to relax".

For peace and quiet you may want to consider a stop somewhere along Eagle Beach. Unfortunately neither the Marriott, nor any of the resorts along Eagle Beach, that I am personally familiar with, sell day passes. Someone did say in the past that the Amsterdam Manor sold day passes, but I have no verificiation of that as fact.
