Cape Canaveral - Kennedy Space Center

We'll be arriving in Cape Canaveral around 2PM the day before our cruise. We thought we could take the kids for a quick look at Kennedy Spece Center, but were floored by the price. Does anyone know if there's a special rate for late entry - we wouldn't be able to do much but...

We were there recently and arrived later in the day. There was no late entry discount, but there were stacks of $5 off coupons by where you bought tickets. It made it $15 per adult for a basic ticket. This ticket didn't include the buses that go around the space center and to mission control area and launch pads. We walked around threw several museum areas, the rocket garden, gift shops, heard a real astrounaut speak to a group in the open air pavilion in the middle of everything. I think we ended up being there about 3 hours or so.

I did the full tour with the buses to launch pads, etc. but if you can't afford the full tour, or if you don't have much time, no need to take the tickets including the buses. There is a lot of interesting things within the ''main'' area.
