Cyclone Yani!

Am desperately keeping mum away from all forms of media for the next 36 hours as she has a tendancy to freak out about me going anywhere (had to cancel trips for sars, bird flu, terrorism etc) and she joked a few weeks ago about it all seeming fine for this cruise so long as a cyclone doesn't pop up :D

Oh well, will go pick up an extra pack of Kwells :p

Hi Sarah,

 

I didn't realise until now that you are travelling on the same cruise as one of the girls who works with me. I hope for your sake and hers that the cyclone fizzles out. She is prone to motion sickness but I have recommended that if it gets rough she goes and gets the jab!! Maybe she might have to take that advice.:o

 

Rest assured that if the cyclone is anywhere near where you are meant to go, P&O will change the itinerary. They will not endanger the lives of the passengers & crew or their ship!

On pacific sun 24th october curise we were heading toward cyclone xavier

The captain announced that if it continued on its course we would have to turn back to sydney and this decision would be made midnight thurs 26th oct luckily it changed course and we could continue on
