Wendy The Wanderer Posted November 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2006 I would call my TA and ask on Monday. It's not really late, but you should have heard something. My TA always contacts me beforehand to ask where to ship the docs, so they don't end up going to the wrong place.
cruisinsince75 Posted November 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2006 We got ours 4 weeks prior to sailing, but I understand that the norm is usually about three weeks prior.
dorie342 Posted November 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 25, 2006 WE are on the December 18th Voyager sailing and our Docs came Fed X this week.
OrpingtonT Posted November 26, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Here in the UK tickets via a TA arrive 10 days or so before sailing. Booked directly with Regent we get them about 28 days (sometimes more) beforehand.
KLG Posted November 27, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2006 We're on the Navigator Dec. 18 sailing and we got our tickets a week ago. Our TA got them a few days before that. I still wonder if we're the only ones on that sailing, although the TA says the ship is almost full! Haven't heard from others on this board. decocamp Posted November 28, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 28, 2006 We will be on the 18 December Navigator sailing! I am travelling with my elderly parents. This will be our first time on Regent. Now that I have been reminded I will call my TA tomorrow re: cruise tickets.

Corvette Posted November 28, 2006 Author #12 Share Posted November 28, 2006 My embarkation says the pier is LA Cruise Ship Terminal and I thought the Mariner departed from San Pedro. Is this the same pier?
KLG Posted November 28, 2006 #13 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Decocamp, I'm really glad to hear that you'll be sailing with us. We were on the Navigator almost two years ago and loved it, so I hope you and your parents will too. Did you hear anything about your tickets? We're Karen and Elliot from the Washington, DC suburbs. Hope we'll meet you on board! KLG
decocamp Posted December 1, 2006 #14 Share Posted December 1, 2006 Did you hear anything about your tickets? I got them yesterday! Do say hello if you see us on board. We are Chinese Canadian and we almost always move (slowly) in a group of three. We are hard to miss. By the way, from your experience, is boarding allowed earlier than the 2:30 p.m. indicated on the tickets? We are used to boarding around 11 to 12 and appreciate the extra time to settle in before the drill.
KLG Posted December 4, 2006 #15 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I can't honestly remember what the boarding situation was on our (then-Radisson) cruise. But for all our cruises, we travel to the port city a day early and almost always arrive at the pier by noon. I think we were able to board immediately, but it was 2:00 or later when we could get into our cabin. I'm pretty sure we were offered lunch while we waited. (Hope I'm not confusing this with Oceania, which was the last cruise.) We'll look for you on board. Karen
Wendy The Wanderer Posted December 4, 2006 #16 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Decocamp, have a great time! We'll be getting off Navigator the day you board. And we're also from Toronto. On the 11th, I certainly intend to be at the pier by about 1 p.m.
decocamp Posted December 5, 2006 #17 Share Posted December 5, 2006 Thanks to everyone for the all the responses. We also always travel to the port a day early and get to the ship about noon on embarkation day. I know this is straying off topic, but I am very curious to hear the review of the Navigator 'make over'. Or is it being done as we speak?
