Will we get documents before sailing in 3 weeks?

We are thinking about booking Fantasy Dec. 21 sailing through an independant company. That is a little over 3 weeks from sailing. Will we receive our documents before we sail on Nov. 21? If not, how does it work?

They could be sent Overnight to you or you may be instructed to pick them up at the pier.

we had to request ours!!!!! new agent... our old one just aways sent our docs. We actualy had to request them:eek: But they arrived today, about 5 days later... we sail in 3 weeks too... just call them.

I booked once 16 days before my cruise, with a carnival PVP. I got mine a week later in the mail.

I upgraded my wife's and my room a couple of weeks ago and made reservations for son and his friend yesterday for a sailing next Monday. Anyone have experience that close to sail time? If you upgrade do you get new documents? Will they arrive before cruise?

You can board without your docs. Call your PVP and get your Booking #.

 

Then go to Carnival's Website and Fill out the FUNPASS QUICK CHECK IN form. Print this out with all the correct information entered, have your necessary ID's with you and you should be fine.

 

Just remember to fill out the information as it is printed on your Identification.

 

I have boarded without docs doing it this way and it was just fine.
