Is there any better place to buy Mexican Vanilla? I have heard you have to be careful because not all places sell the real stuff.

I've gotten the "real" stuff at Los Cinco Soles in Cozumel.

awsmm - my friend said they saw some that in fine print read something like artificial flavoring. And we're in KS, too!

Look for Vanilla or Vainilla or Vanilin or vanilla bean extractive in the ingredients. The ingredients will, most likely, be in Spanish but it's pretty easy to tell if the word id vanilla. Also, buy it in a glass bottle. We bought some in a plastic bottle once and it had a "plasticky" taste.

Viva Mexico has the good stuff at great prices. I bring it home as gifts and everyone loves it. It is small and carries easy.
